Smiths Falls OHW 2025 mission, goals and objectives
Our mission is to bring people back home for an epic 8-day festival that honours our community’s rich history.
We support local businesses and community service clubs while further engaging our residents and promoting the quality of life we all enjoy. Join us in celebrating diversity and inclusion, while equally important, educate ourselves and visitors about our indigenous history and other cultures.
The event will feature revenue-generating opportunities as well as non revenue-generating activities for all, young and old, altogether ensuring a memorable experience for everyone. Let’s come together and make history in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada!

The Old Home Week committee proudly celebrated the exciting milestone of our official one year launch at the charming Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario on August 2nd, 2024, drawing an enthusiastic crowd eager to connect and share in the festivities; attendees were treated to valuable insights into what’s in store for the upcoming event, sparking anticipation and joy among all present.

Old Home Week committee members had a great afternoon spreading the word about next year’s festival at the Smiths Falls Canada Day celebrations held at Lower Reach Park. It was a great event with lots of fun for the whole family.
